Panasonic first 4G smartphone "Eluga L" launched in India and  will cost Rs 12,990

With the rising demand of 4G smartphones, Panasonic has expanded its Eluga series by unveiling its first 4G smartphone in India. The Japanese tech giant, Panasonic named device as Panasonic Eluga L 4G, the phone will cost you Rs 12,990.

The Eluga L 4G features a unibody design with a thickness of 6.1 mm. The phone, which has Corning Gorilla Glass at both front and back, sports a 5-inch HD IPS display and a Qualcomm 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor combined with 1 GB of RAM.

Commenting on the launch, Manish Sharma, Managing Director, Panasonic India said “Panasonic India has now signalled a big leap in its product portfolio by bringing better specifications and features in the newly launched Eluga L which not only caters to the fast developing technological needs in the market but is also priced reasonably. With the company’s recent success in the smartphones category and the mobility landscape rapidly evolving today, the new device will surely match the needs of our fast evolving consumers in the country.”

It is bundled with an 8-megapixel rear camera and the 5-megapixel front camera. The phone has an internal storage space of 8GB, which can be expanded  its memory up to 32GB using a microSD card.

It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and comes with Panasonic’s Fit Home UI which, as per the company facilitates single hand operation.

In terms of connectivity options, the Eluga L supports dual sim(3G+4G), 4G LTE connectivity on all Indian networks, Wi-fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. With the demand of powerful battery, Panasonic fails to shared anything on battery capacity on the smartphone.

The latest device from the house of Panasonic, Eluga L 4G will be available in Radiant Blue colour.
